Leroy “Bugs” Gibson, a 73 year old Trenton, MO resident, passed away at 12:36 a.m., Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Eastview Manor Care Center in Trenton.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home of Trenton.  A scheduled visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Springer Cemetery.
Mr. Gibson was born on July 22, 1943 in Trenton, MO the son of Norman and Martha (Nigh) Gibson. He was married to Doris Souders on July 22, 1982. He graduated from Gilman City High School in 1961. He was employed as a roofer throughout his working years. He enjoyed hunting, hand fishing, and arrow head hunting.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Doris of Trenton, MO; daughters, Susan Ide and Penny Buswell (Bret) both of Trenton, MO; sons, Darrell Klein (Teresa) of Brimson, MO and Joe Klein (Vickey) of Chillicothe, MO; brothers, Gene Gibson of Gilman City, MO, Preston Gibson of TX, Bob Gibson of Gilman City, MO, and Stan Gibson of Brookfield, MO; a step sister, Karen Nichols of Albany, MO; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
