Erma Lee Dockery, an81 year old Trenton, MO resident, passed away at 3:25 p.m., Friday, February 26, 2016 at Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Grundy Center United Methodist Church northeast of Trenton.  Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton.  A visitation is scheduled from 6 until 7 Monday evening at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton.  Memorial donations are suggested to the Grand River Gardening Club or the North Highway 65 senior center and may be left or mailed to the funeral home.
Erma Lee Dockery was born April 2, 1934 in Hickory, MO to Raymond and Helen (Boyle) Dockery.  Erma farmed most of her life as well as worked for Trenton Foods for 33years.  She loved country music and line dancing and wanted to provide her children and grandchildren the chance to be musical by providing musical instruments to them all.  In her spare time she enjoyed her flowers and garden as well a baking.  Erma was well known for her pies and cookies and she made the best crystal 21 day sweet pickles.  She was a long time member of the Grundy Center United Methodist Church where she held several offices.
Surviving relatives include her children Kenny Roberts and his wife Dianne, Ronnie Roberts and his wife Martha and Brenda Smith all of Trenton, a sister Susie Walker and her husband Vic of Trenton, six grandchildren; Christopher Smith, Tosha Loyd and her husband Craig, Tia Griffin and her husband Brad, Jeff Smith and his wife Jesse, Tara Hoffman and her husband Eric, and Tenna Roberts, three step grandchildren Katie Forsythe and his wife Yancy, and Jeremy and Cecily Donoho, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Those preceding her in death include her parents, sisters Wanda Harris and Roberta Akers, a brother Harold Dockery, and step greatgrandchild Camden Donoho.
