Bettie Bain, a 93 year old Trenton, MO resident passed away at 4:08 PM on Friday, February 12, 2016 at the Bristol Manor in Trenton.
Services will be Saturday, April 23rd at 2:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Trento.
Mrs. Bain was born on March 2, 1922 in Brimson, MO the daughter of Elmer and Zora (Leap) Wickizer. She was married Lyle McHargue in 1935; he preceded her in death on June 6, 1938. She was married to Lloyd Bain on August 16, 1941; he preceded her in death on March 25, 1986. She worked at the Hub Cleaners in Trenton. She was a member of the First Christian Church and The Red Hatters.
Mrs. Bain is survived by 3 sons, John Bain of Rancho San Margarita, CA, David Bain of Trenton, MO, and Richard McHargue of Hannibal, MO;  5 grandchildren, Tim Bain of Seattle, WA, Alec Bain of Bakersfield, CA, Alexandria Bain of Springfield, MO, Mike McHargue of Hannibal, MO, and Shelly Elsner of Hannibal, MO; 5 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchildren; and also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a great grandson, Colin McHargue; a great granddaughter, Erin Elsner; 2 brothers, Charlie Wickizer and Kenneth Wickizer; and 3 sisters, Georgia Robinson, Marylee Coleman, and Floy Wickizer.
