Jerry Coon, a 68 year old Trenton, MO resident passed away Thursday afternoon on November 26, 2015 at his residence.
The body was cremated. A family visitation will be held from 3 – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home in Trenton.
Mr. Coon was born on October 13, 1947 the son of Garland “Doc” and Mary Frances (Stamper) Coon. He graduated high school and attended college. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was married to Sue Rardon on January 3, 1982. He farmed and worked at Modine.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Coon of Trenton, MO; 4 daughters, Dawn Hayes and her husband, Joe of Cedar Rapids, IA, Casey Stiles and her companion, Charles of Cape Fair, MO, Lindsey Brewer of Trenton, MO and her companion, Dan Sylvester, and Katie Coon of Unionville, MO; a sister, Mary Tracy and her husband, Steve of Trenton, MO; and 4 grandchildren, Chase and Brody Hayes, Paiton Brewer, and Zeb Wilson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Coon.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the grandchildren’s college fund.
