Martha Coon, an 86 year old Trenton, MO resident passed away at 6:20 p.m., Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Eastview Manor Care Center in Trenton.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
Martha Caroline Coon was born September 17, 1929 to Nova and Maude (Meeker) Wingate in Laredo, MO. She graduated Spickard High School. On July 23, 1948 she was united in marriage to Ray Coon in Trenton.  Martha owned and operated Browns Dress store, as well as doing the secretary work for Coon’s D-X gas station.  She was a member of the Trenton First Christian Church.
Surviving relatives include her son Mark Coon of Trenton; two sisters, Gwenda Kenny of Trenton and Gwenith McCloud and her husband Richard of Phoenix, AZ; three granddaughters, Sheila Coon of Trenton, April Coon of Trenton, and Jenny Coon of Union Star; five great grandchildren; Isaiah, Riley, Grayson, Jada and Eliza; and seven nieces, nephews.
Those preceding her in death include her parents; husband; son, Monte Coon; daughter Michelle Coon; sister, Anne Charlene Wingate; and brothers, Neal and Charles Wingate.
