Donald Ingraham, an 85 year old Trenton, MO resident, passed away at 11:55 p.m., Sunday, November 21, 2010 at the Cameron Regional Medical Center. He has resided at the Cameron Veteran's Home since August.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Friday, November 26, 2010 at Resthaven Mortuary in Trenton. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery south of Humphreys. Open visitation will be from noon till 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, and from 3:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be left for either the Mt. Zion Cemetery Association or the Missouri Veterans’ Home Assistance League and left at the funeral home.
Leroy Donald Ingraham was born October 23, 1925 at Humphreys, MO to Ellsworth and Ora Brittle Ingraham. He was married to Mary Lou Todd on May 4, 1945. She preceded him in death October 5, 2005. They farmed in the Humphreys and Laredo communities until moving to North of Trenton in 1973. Mr. Ingraham operated a trucking business and then a used farm machinery business, until moving into Trenton in 2000. He served in the United States Army during WWII and was a member to the V.F.W., American Legion and D.A.V. chapters in Trenton. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Christian Church and attended the Spickard Christian Church.
Surviving relatives include his sons James Robert of Trenton and John Charles and his wife Cheryl of Lathrop, MO, Three grandchildren Jason Shawn Ingraham and wife Jennifer of Kansas City, MO; Jeremy Todd Ingraham and wife Nissa of Burlington Junction, MO; and Jenna Marie Ingraham of Fort Lauderdale, FL, four great grandchildren including Lauren Kathryn, Evan Charles, Duke Ryan and Wyatt Dane, three brothers; William J. Ingraham of Trenton, Leon Ingraham of Kinsman, IL and Kenneth Ingraham of Branson, MO, a sister Maxine Johnson of Alexandria, VA.
Those preceding him in death include his wife, parents, 3 brothers Leo, Victor, and a infant J.W., as well as a sister Corrine Smith.
