Gene Alexander a 72 year old resident of Jamesport passed away early Sunday, April 12, 2015 at her residence.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the Jamesport United Methodist Church.  Burial will follow in the Jamesport Masonic Cemetery.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the Jamesport United Methodist Church and may be left with or mailed to Whitaker Eads Funeral Home in Trenton.
Gene F. Alexander was born December 1, 1942 in Trenton to Dee Elwood and Aldine Genevieve (Wild) Black.  On June 21, 1980 she was united in marriage to John Thomas Alexander. Gene was always looking to help others and her highlight of everyday was calling and talking to her friends and family.
Surviving relatives include her son Tony Black of Neosho, MO and a niece Debbie Dinsmore of Princeton, MO, a nephew David Black of Trenton, and a sister-in-law Betty Black of Trenton.
Those preceding her in death include her parents, husband, and brothers Freddie DeWitt and Elwood DeWayne Black.
