Dottie Batson a 68 year old Trenton, MO resident passed away at 12:15 p.m., Friday, October 03, 2014 at St. Luke’s on the Plaza in Kansas City, MO.
Memorial services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton.  A visitation is scheduled from 7 until 8 Tuesday evening at the funeral home.  Memorial donations are suggested to Wright Memorial Hospice and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
Dorothy “Dottie” Marie Batson was born December 2, 1945 in Spickard, MO to Roy and Amber (Sharp) Wilson.  She is a graduate of Spickard High School and was employed with Sunnyview Nursing Home working in medical records for over 25 years, retiring in 2008.  In 1978 she was united in marriage to Carl Batson in Spickard.  Dottie was a member of the Trenton Red Hatters.
Surviving relatives include her husband Carl of the home; her daughter, Dana Kinnison and her husband Ronnie of Smithville, MO; 2 sons, Jeff Roberts and his wife Barbara of Richmond, MO and Clint Batson and his wife Teri of Trenton; and a brother, Fred Wilson of Trenton; five grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
Those preceding her in death include her parents; a sister, Barbara Richardson; and a brother, Larry Wilson.
