Jolene Walker, a 74 year old former Trenton resident, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2013 at her residence in Bethany, MO.  
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Rev. Brad Walker will officiate.  Burial will be in the Rural Dale Cemetery, east of Trenton.
Mrs. Walker was born on September 26, 1939 in Galt, MO the daughter of Theodore and Jessie (Burns) McCully.  She was married to Carl Walker on April 5, 1958 in Laredo, MO, he preceded her in death on February 14, 1992. She worked as Trenton City Clerk for several years.  She was a member of the Edinburg Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Brad Walker and wife, Sherry of Bethany, MO and Jim Walker and wife, Becky Ashland, MO; a daughter, Peggy Persell and husband, Jerry of Lincoln, NE; a brother, Merle McCully of Madison, WI; and a sister Betty Johnson of Tulle Lake, OR; six grandchildren, Zachary Walker and his wife, Jessica, Allyson Cunningham and her husband, Brad, Tyler Persell, Nathan Persell, Carly Persell, Katie Walker, and Eric Walker; two great grandchildren, Brett and Caroline Jolene Walker.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Ted, Wayne, Harold, and Donald McCully; and two sisters, Minerva Cummings and Ila Tharp.
The family has suggested that memorial contributions be made to the Green Hills Animal Shelter, they can be left at or mailed to Resthaven Mortuary, P.O. Box 587, Trenton, MO 64683.
