Louis Rovonne Mellott, an 88 year old resident of Princeton, MO, passed away at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at his residence where he was under hospice care.

His body is to be cremated under the direction of Whitaker Eads Funeral Home of Trenton.  Graveside inurnment services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, December 15, 2012 at North Evans Cemetery Northeast of Trenton.

Louis Mellott was born July 30, 1924 in Peoria, IL to Lawrence Edwin and Isla Pearl Cleer Mellott.  On November 27, 1998 he was united in marriage to Marieta Dalphone Dreyer in Las Vegas, NV.

Surviving relatives include his wife Marieta of Princeton, eight children; Isla Miller (Jim) of Princeton, Patricia Ann Mellott of Kennewick, WA, Sherri Lynn Baldwin-Cook of El Dorado, KS, Lawrence Jackson Mellott (Ruth) of El Dorado, KS, Shirley K. Mellott of Overland Park, KS, Jeffery Craig Mellott of Wichita, KS, Jill Guerrero of Katy, TX, and Ron(Rovonne) McCuen (Anne) of Humble, TX, seven brothers and sisters Aaron Flowers(Teresa) of TX, Leah Seabring of Peoria, IL, Christina Sinicori(Danny) of Peoria, IL, Homer Flowers(Sharon) of Peoria, IL, Carol Russel(Ed) of Spokan, WA, Martha Cole of Forrest City, IL, and Wanda Richardson of Astoria, IL, 13 grandchildren, and 4 step-grandchildren  23 great-grandchildren, and  14 step great-grandchildren 3 step-great-great-grandchild due in February..

Those preceding him in death include his parents and brothers Paul Flowers, Andrew Flowers, George Mellott and a sister Edna Mellott.
