Kenny Sims, 66-year-old Trenton Missouri resident passed away Tuesday morning January 24, 2012 at the St. Luke's hospital in Kansas City, MO.

A visitation is scheduled from 6 until 7 Saturday evening at Whitaker Eads Funeral Home in Trenton.  The body is to be cremated following.  Open visitation will begin at 8:30 Friday morning.  Memorial donations may be made to the donor’s choice and left with the funeral home.

Kenneth D. Sims was born June 18, 1945 in Grundy County to Glynn and Nadine Bell Campbell Sims.  He graduated from Galt High School and owned and operated Sims Digging Service.

Mr. Sims is survived by his wife, Peggy Sims of Trenton MO; three sons, Mike Sims and his wife, Karen of Trenton MO and Steve Sims and his wife, Mellisa of Trenton, MO, and Mark Sims of Jefferson City, MO; two sisters, Doris Axtell of Trenton, MO and Debbie Smith of Boonville, MO; and six grandchildren Mandy Betz and her husband Skylar, Tiffany, Krystal, and Julia Sims, and Casey and Zachary Scott.

Those preceding him in death include his parents, two brothers Glen Dean Sims and Jim Sims and a sister Lois Jean Vincill.
