Aleta Hieb, a 93 year old Trenton, MO resident, passed away at 7:45 p.m., Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton.
Her body is to be cremated with services to be held in the spring at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Memorial donations may be made to the Trenton First Baptist Church and left with or mailed to the funeral home.
Aleta Verene Hieb was born March 21, 1925 in Herreid, SD to Jacob and Margaret (Bischke) Quaschnik. She graduated from Herreid High School with the class of 1943. On August 29, 1948 she was united in marriage to Herbert Hieb in Herreid, SD. They spent most of their married lives in Harold, SD, where they ranched. They moved to Trenton in 1997. Herbert died February 7, 2012.
Surviving relatives include her daughters Rhonda Colvin and husband Rich of LaQuinta, CA, Marleen Johnson and husband Ray of Trenton, Glenda Simpson and husband Fred of Trenton and Cheryl Bentley and husband Steve of Castle Rock, CO, grandchildren Shelly Stevens and husband Brian of St. Joseph, MO, Jeff Johnson of St. Joseph, MO, Jason Simpson and wife Alisa of Chillicothe, MO, Jonathan Simpson and wife Shona of Trenton, Amanda Vandevender and husband Paul of Kearney, MO and Jessica Bentley of Castle Rock, CO, 12 great grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren and 1 step great-great grandchild.
Those preceding her in death include her parents, husband, 3 brothers and a sister.
