Christopher Untiedt, a 44 year old Trenton, MO resident, passed away at 4:08 p.m., Friday, November 9, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital on the Plaza in Kansas City, MO due to surgery complications.
A funeral mass is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 15, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Trenton.  His body is to be cremated after the service.  A rosary is scheduled for 5:30 p.m., Wednesday evening with visitation to follow until 7:30 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton.  Memorial donations are suggested to go toward funeral expenses.  The family suggests casual attire for the services.  Online condolences may be left at whitakereads.com.
Christopher Scott Untiedt was born July 7, 1974 in St. Joseph, MO to Frances and Marie Untiedt.  He graduated from Galt High School with the class of 1992.  In 1993 he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp, and later served with the National Guard Reserves, with Trenton and Chillicothe armories.  On June 30, 2000 he was united in marriage to Amy Garner in Trenton.  Christopher worked at Trenton foods for 25 years and was recently employed with the Dept. of Corrections in Cameron.  He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Surviving relatives include his wife Amy, children Madison Untiedt and Kristen Barron, and granddaughter Mia Barron all of the home, parents Butch and Marie Untiedt of Trenton, sisters Cindy Delp and husband Gregg of Lewistown, MO and Angie Lowrey and husband Stephen of Trenton, brother Tom Untiedt and wife Melinda of St. Louis, MO and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother James Edward Untiedt.

I am so sorry to hear of Chris passing. I have so many fond memories of all the time I spent with this family as Cindy and I were close friends. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Chris was a pleasure to work with at Trenton Foods. He always had a bright smile and a helpful hand. Angie, you are in my prayers. Amy, you and the girls are as well. My heart goes out to you all with a warm embrace. Many hugs to you and the whole family!
