Tyler Gregg Davis, a 20 year old Chula, MO resident, passed away at his residence Sunday evening July 22, 2018.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Lifepoint Church at 434 Locust St. in Chillicothe.  Burial will follow in the Stucker Cemetery near Laredo.  The family will be receiving guest from 5 until 8 p.m., Tuesday at the house of Gregg and Gayle Davis at 457 Southeast 70th St., in Rural Chula.  The family requests no flowers, but Memorial donations be made to the Tyler Davis Wrestling Scholarship Fund and may be left with or mailed to Whitaker Eads Funeral Home in Trenton.  The family requests that everyone bring a hat or cap to the cemetery for Tyler to be buried with.
Tyler Gregg Davis was born June 10, 1998 in Columbia, MO to Shelby and Dean Sayre.  He graduated from Trenton High School and had attended Central College in Pella, IA.  Tyler was an avid wrestler and wrestled in high school and collegiately.  Other than spending time with friends and family Tyler loved snow skiing, hunting and his truck.  He was a member of the Vineyard Church in Kansas City, MO.
Surviving relatives on his mother’s side include his mother, Shelby of Chillicothe, MO, maternal grandparents Gregg and Gayle Davis of Chula, MO, uncle Shane Davis and wife Misty Jo of Liberty, MO, cousins Colton and Gabe Davis.
On his father’s side he is survived by his father Dean Sayre and wife Robyn of Purdin, MO and Grandmother Carol Sayre of Purdin.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather Donald Sayre.
