Phyllis Zimmerman, an 82 year old Trenton, MO resident, passed away at 6:05 p.m., Monday, April 03, 2017 at Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. A scheduled visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Zimmerman was born on August 2, 1934 in Ravanna, MO the daughter of Garland and Avis Marie (Kelly) Constable. She was married to James Zimmerman on June 7, 1951 in Princeton, MO; he preceded her in death on October 31, 2008. They lived most of their married lives in Kansas City, where they both worked for Kansas City Police Department. They retired in 1983 and moved to Princeton where they were dispatchers for the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department. They later moved to Trenton to make their home.
Surviving relatives include her son, Robert Zimmerman of Phoenix, AZ; a sister, Paula Yeamans of Yuma, AZ;  a brother, Jack Constable of Trenton, MO; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Camp and Beverly Radcliff; and two brothers, Bill Constable and Winton Constable.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Police Benefit Association, they may be left at or mailed to Resthaven Mortuary, P.O. Box 587, Trenton, MO 64683.

I'am very sorry to hear of Phyllis passing. She was a very sweet person. Ive known Phyllis for many years growing up in Princeton. I spent many hours around her at the Sheriffs office visiting while she worked. She will be missed by many
