Debra Ann “Debbie” (Shanks) Ngo, a 49-year-old resident of Sedalia, died on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017 at the Bothwell Regional Medical Center in Sedalia.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Inurnment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be from 1:00 until service time Saturday. Memorial donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society and may be left with the funeral home.
Mrs. Ngo was born on Sept. 5, 1967 in Trenton, the daughter of John Edward and Patsy Ann Shanks. She graduated in 1985 from Trenton High School and in 1987 from Trenton Junior College. She was a member of the Tenth Street Baptist Church in Trenton.
She was married on Aug. 26, 1994 to Coung Ngo, who survives of the home. They spent their entire married lives in Sedalia.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her father, John Edward Shanks of Trenton; her mother, Patsy Ann Adams and her husband, Wilbur L. Adams of Maryville; one sister, Diana Lynn (Frank) Thieman of Moberly; an aunt and uncle, Kenny and Donna Clark of Chillicothe; one great-aunt, Margie Langwell of Brookfield; and several other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Oma Shanks and Kenneth and Iva Clark; and several aunts and uncles.
