Janeen Batson, a 61 year old Trenton, MO resident, passed away at 4:25 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at the K.U. Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Burial will be in the South Evans Cemetery, north east of Trenton. A scheduled visitation will be held from 6-7:00 p.m. on Saturday at Resthaven Mortuary.
Mrs. Batson was born on March 10, 1954 in Trenton, MO the daughter of Donald Maurice and Rosalie Mae (Barlow) Bonta. She worked as a secretary at Green Hills Community Action Agency for 33 years. She attended the Tenth Street Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Clint Batson and his wife, Teri of Trenton, MO; a brother, Maurice Bonta and his wife, Laurie of Trenton, MO; a sister, Gayla (Bonta) Batson of Trenton, MO; a grandson, Kale Batson; a nephew, Mike Batson and his wife, Debbie and a nephew, Issac Bonta; 2 nieces, Emily and Maurissa Bonta; and 3 great nieces, Kelsey, Allison, and Lindsey Batson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Green Hills Animal Shelter, they can be left at or mailed to Resthaven Mortuary, P.O. Box 587, Trenton, MO 64683.

I worked for Access II and went to Janeen's home. I am so thankful that I met her. I kept in touch with her after I quit. I will never forget her. I'm so sorry for your loss.
