Retta Jo Deaver, 48, a Trenton, MO resident, passed away Monday, June 22, 2015 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, MO.
Retta Jo Deaver was born June 1, 1967 in Ottumwa, IA to Richard Slagle and Georgia Shilt Slagle.  She graduated from Trenton High School in 1985 and attended Trenton Jr. College and CMSU (Warrensburg, MO)   where she graduated with a B.S.A. in Accounting.  Retta was employed at Modine Mfg. Company as the plant controller.  
Retta’s greatest joy was watching her sons play and compete in their many sports activities.  She was involved in Trenton Quarterback Club and the THS Booster Club for many years.  She loved being with her family and friends, traveling and going to concerts.      
Surviving relatives include her sons James Deaver of Trenton and Kyle Hoyt of Maryville, MO, her mother, Georgia Corbin and husband, Don of Bethany MO, her father Richard Slagle and wife, Dorothy  of Ottumwa, IA,   a brother Troy Slagle and his wife, Stacia of Savannah, MO, her companion, Dan Glenn of Trenton, four uncles; Ron and Marietta Shilt, John and Sandy Shilt all of Liberty, MO, Joe and Sharon Shilt of Chillicothe, MO, and Jack and Linda Shilt of Kearney, MO, two nieces, Torria and Camarie Slagle, two nephews, Ian and Kavan Slagle all of Savannah, MO, several cousins and a host of friends.
Retta was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joe and Hildred Shilt and Don and Bernadine Slagle.
