Marie Cox, a 95 year old Trenton, MO resident, passed away at 11:00 a.m., Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Eastview Manor Care Center in Trenton.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Dockery Chapel United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton. A visitation will be held from 10:00 until service time Thursday. Open visitation will begin Wednesday morning at Resthaven Mortuary.  Memorial donations are suggested to Dockery Chapel United Methodist.

Elizabeth Marie Cox was born November 15, 1919 in Lavine, AZ to Elmer and Ida (Curtis) Lugenbeal. She attended Shelburne Elementary and graduated from Trenton High School. On July 11, 1936 she was united in marriage to Jesse Randall Cox in Gallatin. After their marriage they moved to the Hickory community, where they farmed together. Randall preceded her in death on August 28, 2007. She was an active member of Dockery Chapel United Methodist Church.

Surviving relatives include her grandchildren Adrian Cox and his wife Tyann and Dustin Cox and his wife Mandy of Trenton, 7 great grandchildren, Jordan Cox, Roya Cox, Beau Wells, Ayron Wilson, McKenna Cox, Carlin Rorebeck and Ali Cox, and 3 great-great grandchildren Tanner Barger, Ryley Wilson and Berkley Wells.

Those preceding her in death include her parents, husband, sons Gerald Dean Cox and Roy Lee Cox, a daughter Linda Lou Cox Wallace, brothers Flavel and Francis Lugenbeal, and great grandson Bryce Wells.
