Jim Berry, a 62 year old resident of Higginsville, MO passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the Center Point Medical Center in Independence, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens. A scheduled visitation will be held from 6 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, at the mortuary.

Mr. Berry was born on June 17, 1952 the son Raymond and Retta (Holloway) Berry.  He was employed with Trenton Municipal Utilities and Higginsville Municipal Utilities. He was married to Deb Eads on October 6, 1989 in Bentonville, AR.

He is survived by his wife, Deb Berry of Higginsville, MO; son, Justin Berry and his wife, Adriana of Pleasant Hill, MO; a step daughter, Trisha Phillips and her husband, Lukas of Hollister, MO; a brother, John Berry and his wife, Karen of Springfield, MO; grandchildren, Matthew and Jimmy Berry, and Lucia Phillips; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Those preceded him in death, are his parents; and mother in law, Betty Eads.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society; they can be left at or mailed to Resthaven Mortuary, P.O. Box 587,Trenton, MO 64683.
