Don Tatum, a 90 year old Trenton, MO resident, passed away at 12:45 p.m., April 29, 2015 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Dockery Chapel Church. Pastor Doug Franklin will officiate. Burial will be in the Lake Viking Cemetery. A scheduled visitation will be held from 6 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday at Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home in Trenton.
Mr. Tatum was born on December 25, 1924 in Leon, KS the son of Thomas Milton and Sarah May (Gaskill) Tatum. He was married to Gene Neal on June 18, 1961; she preceded him in death.
Surviving relatives include his son, David Tatum and his wife, Anita of Trenton, MO; daughter, Brenda Tatum of Kansas City, MO; sister, Ruth Fouts of Tulsa, OK; 3 grandsons, Scott Tatum and his wife, Jenna, Thomas Tatum, and Travis Tatum; and 2 great grandsons, Gavin and Owen.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
