Ollie Mae Fenton, 96, of Trenton, passed away at 11:20 PM on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the First Christian Church in Trenton. Burial will follow at the Spickard Masonic Cemetery in Spickard, Missouri. An open visitation will begin Friday morning at Whitaker Eads Funeral Home in Trenton. Ollie was born on April 5, 1919 on the family farm in Spickard, Missouri to Ras and Nora (Austin) Thogmartin. She married Eugene S. Moffitt on October 8, 1954 in Lexington, Missouri and together they had one son Mark. Eugene preceded her in death on August 23, 1960. She married Marvin Fenton on May 26, 1973 until his death in 1983. Ollie lived in Mill Grove, Missouri until 1957. She lived in Adel, Iowa for three years. And she has lived in Trenton, Missouri since 1960. She was a book keeper at Sunnyview Nursing Home until she retired. Ollie loved playing bridge with her friends.
Mrs. Fenton is survived by her son, Mark Moffitt of Trenton; and step daughters, Carolyn Fenton Shaw of Wentzville, MO and Marilyn Fenton Nolan of Phoenix, AZ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Eugene Moffitt and Marvin Fenton; and her twin brother, L.A. Thogmartin.
