Ray Adams, a 73 year old resident of Trenton, passed away on Monday morning, June 30, 2014 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Wesley United Methodist Church in Trenton. Open visitation will be at the Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home in Trenton.
Mr. Adams was born on November 22, 1940 in Trenton, MO the son of John and Beulah (Ralston) Adams. He was married to Barbra Kempton on May 29, 1960 in Trenton, MO.
He is survived by his wife, Barbra Adams of the home; a son, Brian Adams of Olathe, KS; 2 daughters, Laurie Stevenson of Trenton, MO and Katherine “Kate” Melles of Parkville, MO; a brother, Tom Adams of Columbia, MO; and 5 grandchildren, Tyler Adams, Ellen and Maria Stevenson, and Tucker and Lydia Melles.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Sharon Nelson; and an infant son, Anthony Adams.
