Nancy Jean Barron, a 67 year old Trenton resident, passed away at 6:30 p.m. on April 5, 2014 at her residence where she was under hospice care.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Trenton with burial at Resthaven Memorial Gardens north of Trenton.  A rosary will be held on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at the Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home in Trenton, with a visitation to follow from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
She was born on July 22, 1946 in McComas, WV the daughter of Teddy Jay and Laura Jean (East) Grose. She was married to Jose Severino Barron Sr. on February 19, 1964 at St. Ignatius Church in Chicago, IL. She was a R.N. at Sunnyview Nursing Home and later managed the Sunnyview Apartments.
Mrs. Barron is survived by her husband, Jose Severino Barron Sr. of the home; sons, Michael Barron of Kansas City, MO, Jose Severino Jr. and Dena Barron of Trenton, MO, Gabriel Luis Barron of Trenton, MO, John and Jodi Barron of Trenton, MO; a daughter, Linda Barron and Roberto Garcia of Trenton, MO; brothers, Gregory and Cherri Grose  of Kegley, WV and Steven and Lisa Grose of Kegley, WV; sisters, Nita and Algie Miller of Kansas City, MO, Ramona and Chuck Luzell of IL, and Regina Vesely of IL; a sister in law, Marilynne Grose of Greensboro, NC; a step mother, Delaney Grose of Kegley, WV; grandchildren, Vanessa Barron and Jacob Hibner, Jose Severino Barron III and Nichole Edwards, Jose Sanchez Barron IV,Tyler and Renae Coberley, Melody Nichols and Luke Farris, Hannah Barron, Kristen Barron, Sabrina  and Tyler Hartley, Skyler Barron, Mercedes Barron, Marcus and Lindsay Barron; great grandchildren, Marley, Charlie, Forest, Addison, Kenzie, Rylan, and Braylee; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Teddy Grose; a brother in law, Bill Vesely; and a nephew, Nathan Schieb.
The family has suggested that memorial contributions be made to the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church; they can be left at or mailed to Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home, 813 Custer, Trenton, MO 64683.
