Mary Helen Woldridge, an 89 year old resident of Trenton, passed away at 9:05 a.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the Sunnyview Nursing Home of Trenton.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at the Shelburne Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Shelburne Cemetery. Open visitation will begin Friday after 3:00 p.m. at the Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home of Trenton and a scheduled visitation will be held one hour prior to service time, at the church.
Mrs. Woldridge was born on January 4, 1924 in Trenton, MO the daughter of Guy and Jeannette (Shatzer) Mitchell. She was married to Offa Woldridge on April 22, 1945 in Trenton, MO; he preceded her in death on February 2, 2004. They lived all their married lives on their farm near Shelburne. She was a member of the Shelburne Baptist Church.
She is survived by 2 sons, Larry Woldridge and his wife, Sue of Trenton, MO and Gary Woldridge and his wife, Brenda of Converse, TX; a daughter-in-law, Chris Woldridge Ropp of Trenton, MO; 4 grandchildren, Andrea Woldridge, Scott Woldridge, Callie Woldridge, and Logan Woldridge; 9 great grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Greg Woldridge; a granddaughter, Melissa Woldridge Busch; and a brother, Guy Mitchell Jr.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Shelburne Cemetery or the Grundy County Food Pantry.
