Marvin “Butch” Howard Repp was born October 6, 1920 in Funk, OH to Charles and Jennie Grace Swartz Repp. He led a full life of 92 years plus. He moved to Galt, MO in 2001 where he resided with his wife until her passing in January 2006. He moved to Trenton and became known as “the little man who walked everywhere”. He passed away at 5:55 a.m., June 17, 2013 at Eastview Manor Care Center.
He was preceded in death by his wife Clara and his son Dennis Repp. He is survived by sons Nelson Repp and his wife Gathie Lee, Larry and is wife Sharon both of OH, daughters Julia Repp, of OH, Barb Eller and her husband John and Claire Holecko and her husband John both of Trenton, MO, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A visitation is scheduled from 6 until 8 Thursday evening at Whitaker Eads Funeral Home in Trenton. Burial of his cremains will be at a later date at Woodland Cemetery in Lodi, OH. Memorial donations are suggested in lieu of flowers to the Fairview United Methodist Church and may be left with the funeral home.
