MacPHAIL, Leroy Of East Walpole, formerly of Nova Scotia, November 5, following a long illness, age 79. Loving husband of Agnes (MacKinnon) of 52 years. Cherished son of the late Malcolm J. and Elizabeth (MacKenzie). Devoted father of Joanne MacPhail-Walsh and her husband Brian of Quincy and Donna MacPhail of Walpole. Cherished brother of Calum and his wife Mary and Kenzie and his wife Kathleen all of Nova Scotia & the late Joy MacPhail-Power. Also survived by the joys of his life, his grandchildren, Conor and Quinn Catherine Walsh, and also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Visiting hours will be held Friday evening from 4-8pm at the Alexander F. Thomas and Sons Funeral Home, 45 Common St., WALPOLE. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday morning at 10 at the Presbyterian Church in Needham, 1458 Great Plain Ave. Interment at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Relatives and friends invited. Devoted member of the Presbyterian Church in Needham where he sang in the Gaelic and English Choirs and served on the Board of Trustees, proud member of the Local 40 Carpenters Union, long time member of the Azure Masonic Lodge of Walpole. So sorry to hear about Uncle Leroy's passing. Such a good, gentle man. I will always remember that smile and laugh, how he loved scottish music and his old home in Scotsville. But most of all, I will remember how he loved his family.
Wish we could be there with you. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

I remember LeRoy as a gentle devout Christian who treated all with respect and dignity. I give thanks to God for his presence. May you even in the midst of grief rejoice in his life and and the love you shared.
